ICPA Zimbabwe is one of the constituent bodies of the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB). PAAB was formed by an act of parliament , Act 13 of 1995, Chapter 27.12. PAAB is the only setter of Accounting and Auditing Standards in Zimbabwe and is also the only authority Practicing rights in Zimbabwe.

There is no constant threat of loss of respect and loss of international recognition faced by local professionals where examinations originate locally. CPA is a Post-Grad Qualification.
Entry qualification is a Degree in Accounting.
