In practice
ICPA students may work in practice – giving them the future option of setting up their own practice, or simply to gain relevant experience. It’s always a good idea to keep your options open – something that the CPA Institute allows you to do. Students are not limited to working in the offices of Certified Public Accountants or in Public Sector; they can also work in the office of a practicing private firm auditor.
Out of practice
A non – practicing qualification can lead to careers in financial services, the public sector, industry, consultancy, education and many other sectors.
Support services
The institute provides support services through the participating universities to both students and members who have access to experienced, committed and helpful staff. Through advocacy, Universities in Zimbabwe since the 1980s have delivered tuition in Public Sector accounting and commercial accounting.
From July 2007, the institute increased its developmental projects to benefit the members and students the most.
The institute can also obtain assistance from ECSAFA of which it is a member and CPA Ireland.
