CPA Differentiation

The CPA qualification which is competency based is supported by rigorous training. The market world-over is seeking financial professionals with the ability to influence business at strategic level more than ever before. The frequency of changes in IFAC standards require that the CPA must be committed to life long learning. The competency based approach sees significant emphasis on strategy, ethics and governance however the key fundamental aspects of auditing and corporate reporting remain. A CPA professional as can be seen is a professional who will have qualified at the highest professional level such as meeting European Union expectations and is a professional who will have over and above that, passed examinations in Public Sector Accounting.

The professional is supported by ably placed professionals in Zimbabwe. Key technical challenges, based on the MoU with CPA Ireland can be bounced to CPA Ireland for assistance providing the professional with sound backup in technical issues under the MoU. Those who train under UDICORP and C & AG will be required to obtain about 1 000 hours (six months) practical exposure in an audit firm as part of the 4 000 hours required unless they worked in the parastatals audits section. The ease with which a CPA professional understands business, clearly distinguishes the qualification in a maze of qualification. We choose to be practical.
