The entry qualification to the examinations is a degree in accounting. The examination will be written in April during the last week and in August during the last week each year or as may be arranged by Council.

- Public Sector scheme can be completed without foreign exams. Graduates and other acceptable qualifications can gain exemptions from certain subjects.
- Certified General Accountant exams are same as Ireland stream except they are local. Graduates of other institutions can gain exemptions on a subject for subject basis
